Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE.Spl/OT(T) / AEE2 / SCP / Nzb /2010-11 Dt. 27.12.2010.and even No. dated 10.1.2012. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs. 20.00 lakhs for the work Excavation of Feeder channel to Oora Cheruvu, Damannapet Village, Dharpally Mandal, Nizamabad District stating that the above cheru is having an ayacut of 98 acres. The Pedda Cheruvu is not receiving sufficient water due to which the ayacutdars are suffering for want of water and therefore it is proposed for excavation of a feeder channel. Accordingly, detailed survey has been conducted and the estimate is prepared. Further he has stated that an amount of 6.80 lakhs is proposed for the component of Earth Work Excavation of Feeder channel to take it up under MGNREGP. The scheme is proposed under SCP, as majority of ayacutdars belongs to Scheduled Caste Community. Therefore, he has requested to accord administrative approval for the above work under Special Component Plan Funds. . 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 20.00 lakhs (Rupees Twenty lakhs only) for the work “Excavation of Feeder channel to Oora Cheruvu, Damannapet Village, Dharpally Mandal, Nizamabad District” 3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of Rs. 13.20 lakhs shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 789 SCP - GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (12) Construction and Restoration of MI sources– 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure”. 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of Earth Work Excavation of Feeder channel under Shelf of Project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 6.80 lakhs for the component of Earth Work Excavation of Feeder Channel shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including it under Shelf of Project in consultation with Rural Development Department. 5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly. -2- 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW) Department Vide their U.O.
