Orders in C.C.No 22/1998 Dated 10-07-2003 of Prl.Spl.Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Hyderabad. 3. Orders of Hon’ble Tribunal in O.A NO.2392/2010 Dated 20.04.2010, filed by Sri A. Ramachandra Reddy. 4. G.O.Rt.No.815, TR&B(Vig.III.2) Deptt., dt.25.08.2010. 5. Judgment of Hon’ble High Court of A.P., dt.25.04.2011 in Criminal Appeal Cr.LA No.362/2004 filed by the Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hyderbad. *** O R D E R: Whereas in the reference 1st read above sanction was accorded for Prosecution of Sri A.Ramachandra Reddy, formerly Deputy Transport Commissioner (i/c) (Telangana), on the allegation of corruption in printing of forms and Registers at abnormally high rates causing wrong full loss to the exchequer to the tune of Rs 25.00 Lakhs. 2. Whereas in the Judgment 2nd read above the Principal Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Hyderabad acquitted Sri A.Ramachandra Reddy in- charge Deputy Transport Commissioner (Telangana), Hyderabad (Retd) of the charges framed against him. Against the said Judgment the Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hyderabad, filed Criminal Appeal No 362/2004 in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. 3. In the mean while Sri A.Ramachandra Reddy, filed O.A.No.2392/10 before the APAT and in the reference 3rd read above the Hon’ble Tribunal, in its interim orders directed the respondents to pay the pensionery benefits to the applicant within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. He has also filed C.A.No.721/2010 in O.A.No.2392/2010. 4. In the G.O. 4th read above, Government after careful examination, have released pensionery benefits to Sri A.Ramachandra Reddy, (Retd) subject to the outcome of the Criminal Appeal No CRLA.No. 362/2004, filed before the Hon’ble High Court and the O.A. No.2392/2010 filed by Sri A. Ramachandra Reddy, before the Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal. 5. In the reference 5th read above, the Hon’ble High Court of A.P. in its Judgment dt.25.04.2011, dismissed the Criminal Appeal No.362/2004 filed by the ACB. 6. Government after careful examination has inter-alia observed that the matter pertains to the year 1990 i.e. 21 years back, and decided to implement the orders of High Court of A.P., 5th read above and also to drop further action against Sri A.Ramachandra Reddy. P.T.O.,:: 2 :: 7. Accordingly, Government hereby drop further action against Sri A. Ramachandra Reddy, former Deputy Transport Commissioner (i/c) (Telangana). 8. The Transport Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter.
