1 GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Minor Irrigation – Mahabubnagar District – FDR 2009 – Improvements to Feeder Channel and R/S Pick up weir of Sheshamma Cheru, Ieeja Village and Mandal, Mahabubnagar District – Administrative Approval for Rs.21.20 lakhs – Accorded – Orders – Issued. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = IRRIGATION & CAD (MI T) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 366 Dated 28.3.2012 Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Letter No. DCE II- OT1-SO1-S.Shamma Cheru-Ieeja(V&M)-MBNR Dist-2011, dated 5.7.2011and even No. dated 20.1.2012. @@@ ORDER: In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad has submitted an estimate for the work “Improvements to Feeder Channel and R/ S Pick up Weir of Sheshamma Cheru, Ieeja Village and Mandal, Mahabubnagar District” for Rs.21.20 lakhs stating that the above tank is having a settled ayacut of 118.24 acres. Due to heavy rains during October, 2009, the Muchonipally Reservoir earth bund was damaged and huge flood received in the existing vagu. The pick up weir R/S earthen bund washed out and also damaged the body wall of pick up weir which was situated down stream of vagu. Hence, the source of the feeding to Sheshamma Cheru was closed. The estimate is prepared for Improvements to feeder channel sluices 1 & 2. Further, the he has stated that no component can be taken up under MGNREGP. Hence, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has requested to accord administrative approval in the matter. 2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 21.20 lakhs (Rupees twenty one lakhs and twenty thousand only) for the work “FDR 2009 – Improvements to Feeder Channel and R/S Pick up weir of Sheshamma Cheru, Ieeja Village and Mandal, Mahabubnagar District”. 3. The amount sanctioned in para 2 above, shall be debitable to the Head of Account “4702 COL on MI - MH (101) Surface Water - GH (11) Normal State Plan SH – (16) Immediate Restoration of MI Sources - 530 Major Works / 531 Other Expenditure”.
