Read the following:-
From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE
II/OT4/SO1/ADB/FDR/ Pedda Cheruvu / Thosam / 2011, dated
12.07.2011 and even No. dated 28.12.2011.

ORDER:-
In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has
submitted an estimate for Rs. 114.00 lakhs for the work FDR to Pedda
Cheruvu, Thosam Village, Gudihathnoor Mandal, Adilabad District stating that
the above Cheruvu was formed to create irrigation facility for 200 acres. Due to
heavy floods in the month of August, 2008, the tank bund was washed away
from CH 17.00 to Ch. 25.00 and damages to weir and sluice were also
occurred. Hence it has been proposed for taking up repairs to the tank to
provide irrigation. Further he has stated that an amount of Rs. 2,00,448/- is
proposed to the component of jungle clearance to take it up under MGNREGP.
Therefore, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has requested to accord
administrative approval for the above work under Normal State Plan Funds.
2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord administrative
approval for Rs. 114.00 lakhs (Rupees one hundred and fourteen lakhs only)
for the work “FDR to Pedda Cheruvu, Thosam Village, Gudihathnoor Mandal,
Adilabad District”
3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of
Rs. 111.995 lakhs shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I
MH – 101 S.W - GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (16) Immediate Restoration
of MI Sources and FDR Temporarily Restoration works - 530 Major Works -
531 Other Expenditure”.
4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the
component of jungle clearance under Shelf of Project for taking it under
MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 2.005 lakhs for the
component of jungle clearance shall be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly
including it under Shelf of Project in consultation with Rural Development
Department.2
5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further action
accordingly.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. PW)
Department Vide their U.O. No. 2245/85/A1/Expr.PW/12 dated 21.2.2012 and
P.R. & R.D. (RD) Deptt., vide their U.O. No.7577/RD
II/A1/2012 dated 29.3.2012.
