Read the following:- From the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad Lr. No. DCE II/OT1/SO4/Kudicheruvu/Cheriyal/WGL/263/2012, dated 14.2.2012. <<00>> ORDER:- In the letter read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has submitted an estimate for Rs. 56.80 lakhs for the work FDR 2010 – Permanent repairs to Kudicheruvu, Cheriyal Village and Mandal Warangal District stating that the above Tank is having settled ayacut of 126.02 acres. During August, 2010 heavy rains, this tank was breached and the temporary restoration was taken by forming ring bunds. Now it is proposed to take up permanent repairs at breached portion of bund and damaged portion of weir for smooth functioning of the tank. Further he has stated that an amount of Rs. 19,740/- is proposed for the component of jungle clearance to take it up under MGNREGP. Hence, he has requested to accord administrative approval for Rs. 56.80 lakhs for the above work under Normal State plan 2. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord administrative approval for Rs. 56.80 lakhs (Rupees fifty six lakhs and eighty thousand only) for the work FDR 2010 – Permanent repairs to Kudicheruvu Cheriyal Village and Mandal, Warangal District” subject to condition that there shall be no deviation in work necessitating Revised Administrative Sanction, since investigation is completed and designs are ready. 3. Out of the amount sanctioned at para 2 above, an amount of Rs. 56,60,260/- shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I MH – 101 S.W - GH – 11 Normal State Plan - SH (16) Immediate Restoration of MI Sources and FDR Temporarily Restoration works - 530 Major Works - 531 Other Expenditure”. 4. The Rural Development Department have agreed to include the component of jungle clearance under Shelf of Project for taking it under MGNREGP. Hence, the remaining amount of Rs. 19,740/- for the component of jungle clearance will be proposed under MGNREGP funds duly including it under Shelf of Project in consultation with Rural Development Department. p.t.o. -2-2 5.
