GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTACT Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur – Examinations – Leakage of Question Papers of 1st year PG Examinations of Distance Education Scheduled in the month of November 2011- Entrustment of the Case to the CBCID – Orders - Issued. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HIGHER EDUCATION (UE-1) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 47 Dated:04.02.2012 Read From the Vice Chancellor, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Lr.No.SKU/PA/VC/2011, dt.24.11.2011. *** ORDER:- The Vice-Chancellor, Sri Krishnadevaraya University in his letter read above has stated that, the 1st Year Post Graduate Examinations under Distance Education mode have commenced on 22.11.2011 in all the 73 examination Centres in Andhra Pradesh. The first day examination held on 22.11.2011 went on smoothly based on the report of the Observers. It is further informed that, on the evening of 22.11.2011 at about 6.23 PM someone has faxed the remaining examinations question papers of Distance Education from the Phone No.08592-284106 to the Fax No.255244 of Vice Chancellor’s Peshi. 2. The Vice Chancellor has further stated that, immediately he ordered the Registrar and the Director to verify the authenticity of the Question papers faxed to his office. It was established that the faxed copies of the examination question papers are indeed the original copies of question papers and hence, ordered for postponement of all the examinations indefinitely and same has been communicated to all the Centers and Press. 3. The Registrar has constituted two fact finding teams one to Ongole and another to Singarayakonda to know the first hand information. The University has also lodged Police complaint in the Itikalapalli Police Station, SKU Campus for investigation. As it is a cognizable offence, the University Administration has decided to take stringent action on the culprits, who involved in the illegal activity to defame the University. The Vice-Chancellor has requested the Government to probe the matter with the assistance of High Level Police Investigating Agency i.e., CID or CBCID or any other Police Agency in order to find out the culprits to initiate legal action against them including recovery of financial loss to the University. After careful examination of the entire matter, the Government hereby entrust the case to the CBCID, as per the Guidelines issued in G.A (L&O) Department Vide U.O.Note No.1067/L&O.I/A1/2000-4, dated:30.12.2000 and submit the report to Government with in Three months.
