Read the following:- 1. G.O.Ms.No.106, Higher Education(UE.II) Deptt., dated.01.8.2009. 2. G.O.Ms.No.14, Higher Education(UE.II) Deptt., dated.20.2.2010. 3. From the General Secretary, Government College Gazetted Teachers Association(GCGTA), representation, dated.25.5.2010. 4. From the Secretary, APSCHE, Letter No.APSCHE/UM-777/UGC RPS2006-Para 7 of GO/2010, dated.30.11.2011. ***** ORDER:- In the reference 1st read above, Government have constituted a Committee consisting of (6) Members, to study the recommendations of 6th Central Pay Commission in depth and furnish the finding to the Government, for implementation of Revised UGC Pay Scales, 2006 to the teachers working in Universities and Colleges. 2. Based on the findings of the above Committee, in the reference 2nd read above, Government have implemented the UGC Revised Pay Scales, 2006 to the Teaching staff in Universities and Colleges, with effect from 01.01.2006. 3. The General Secretary, GCGTA, Hyderabad in his representation 3rd read above has requested the Government to implement the Revised UGC Pay Scales- 2006 to the College Teachers, who were in the State Pay Scales and came into the UGC Scales of Pay after 01.1.2006 by option by amending the para-7 of the orders issued in the G.O. 2nd read above suitably. 4. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby entrust the following issues to the Committee constituted vide G.O. 1st read above, to examine for implementation of UGC Revised Pay Scales, 2006 and details of additional commitment, and send its report to Government, immediately, for amendment of G.O. 2nd read above, suitably:- (i) Amendment to para-7 of G.O.Ms.No.14, dated.20.2.2010 for implementation of UGC RPS, 2006 to the College Teachers, who came into the UGC Scales of Pay after 1.1.2006 by option. (ii) New fitment formula for conversion from State Scales to UGC Pay Scales. (iii) Extension of G.O.Ms.No.10 Higher Education(CE.I) Department, dt.19.2.2004 to Librarians and Physical Directors on par with Lecturers. (iv) One time opportunity to Lecturers to opt for UGC Pay Scales of 1996 and 2006. (v) UGC Regulations, 2010. (P.T.O.)// 2 // 5. The Committee should submit its report with in fortnight with regard to the issue as mentioned at Para-4(i), i.e. from the date of issue of this order.
