approval for an amount of Rs.204.73 Lakhs – Accorded - orders Issued.

L.A, dated: 12.09.2011.

ORDER:
1. In the reference 1st read above, the Government have accorded administrative approval to the
work for Formation of Tank (Pathikunta) across local srtream near Pathikuntapalli (V), Ellanthakunta
(M), Karimnagar District for Rs.68.73 Lakhs under RIDF-X with NABARD financial assistance to
irrigate an ayacut of 90 Ha/222 Acres. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has technically sanctioned
the estimate for Rs.70.14 Lakhs and the work was awarded to Sri Laxmi ST & SC Labour contractor Co-
operative Society Limited, Karimnagar at (-) 2.50% over ECV of Rs.55, 08,167/- for an agreement value
of Rs.53,70,463/-.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, Government have approved the 1st revised estimate for
Rs.98,04,000/- due to incessant rains in the area during the course of execution of work causing damage
to the bund by forming of bungas etc.
3. In the reference 3rd read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has proposed for 2nd revised
estimate due to enhancement of Land compensation requisitioned by the Revenue authorities and
submitted the proposals to the Engineer-in-Chief (IW) and requested to obtain the approval of
“Committee of the Chief Engineers”.
4. In the reference 4th read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (IW) has reported that the meeting of the
Committee of Chief Engineers was held on 15.2.2010 and discussed the issue of enhanced Land
Compensation requisitioned by the Revenue authorities and after detailed discussions, the Committee of
Chief Engineers recommended for 2nd revised administrative sanction for Rs.2,04,73.000/-. The details
of R.E. are as follows:
Original Administrative Approval accorded for :Rs.68.73 Lakhs
1st R.E. sanctioned by Govt. for :Rs.98.04 Lakhs
Now R.E submitted for :Rs.204.73 Lakhs
Excess over 1st R.E :Rs.106.69 Lakhs
%Excess over 1st R.E :Rs.108.82 %

5. In the reference 5th read above, the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation has proposed to met the
additional amount out of the state plan funds available with Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation during
2011-12 and requested the Government to obtain and communicate revised administrative approval to the
above scheme for Rs.204.73 lakhs under normal state plan funds since RIDF-X was already closed.
6. Government after careful consideration of the above proposal, hereby accord 2nd revised
administrative approval for Rs.204.73 lakhs (Rupees Two hundred and four lakhs and seventy three
thousands only) for the work of “ Formation of Tank (Pathikunta) across local stream near
Pathikuntapalli (V), Ellanthakunta (M), Karimnagar District, subject to ensuring the correctness of L.A
compensation.
7. The expenditure for the above work is chargeable to the Head of Account “4702 COL on M.I
MH – 101 – Surface water – GH (11) – Normal State Plan – SH (12) – Construction and Restoration of
M.I Sources – 530 Major works -531 & 532 OE” .
8. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation is requested to take further necessary action accordingly.
9. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr. P.W) Dept. vide their U.O. No.
28377/ 942/ A1/ Expr. PW/11, dated: 21.11.2011.
