ORDER: Whereas, it has been made to appear that Sri E.Venkata Reddy, the then Development Officer (H&T), Ananthapur now Retired as Assistant Director (H&T), from the Office of the Deputy Director (Enforcement)/ Regional Deputy Director (H&T), Tirupathi, while functioning as Development Officer (H&T), during the period from 1996-04 to 2008-09 has failed to find out the genuineness of the society records though the societies created bogus records of membership, production & sales to claim inflated Marketing Incentive and caused misappropriation of funds sanctioned to the five (05) societies to a tune of Rs.49,71,900/-. 2. Now, therefore, sanction is accorded under sub-clause (i) of clause (b) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980 to initiate departmental proceedings against the said Sri E.Venkata Reddy, the then Development Officer (H&T), Ananthapur now Retired as Assistant Director (H&T), from the Office of the Deputy Director (Enforcement)/ Regional Deputy Director (H&T), Tirupathi. 3. It is further directed that the said departmental proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Rule 20 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Service (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991, by the Principal Secretary to Government Industries & Commerce Department, AP Secretariat, Hyderabad.
