Read:- From the Director, Archaeology and Museums, Lr.Rc.No.D2/6/2011, Dated 19.01.2011 and 16.11.2011. * * * O R D E R:- In the letters read above, the Director, Archaeology and Museums has reported that the Department of Archaeology and Museums is not equipped with Web Portal and other allied connectivity. He has further stated that though there are about 600 protected monuments and 26 Museums under the control of the Department of Archaeology and Museums; the Historicity attached with protected sites and monuments, besides museum collection and invaluable data could not be kept open to the public by the Department. In this context, the Department has proposed to open a separate website for which open bids were called for and followed the tender norms. The Director, Archaeology and Museums after verifying the bids has requested the Government to entrust the work to the lowest bidder i.e. M/s. Web Tag IT Solutions Private Limited, Hyderabad the work to duly debiting the expenditure to the available Twelfth Finance Commission Funds. 2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord permission to the Director, Archaeology and Museums, A.P., Hyderabad to entrust the work to M/s. Web Tag IT Solutions Private Limited, Hyderabad for Web Portal development work for Department of Archaeology and Museums duly debiting the expenditure to the available Twelfth Finance Commission Funds. 3.
