O R D E R:-
It has been brought to the notice of the Government that certain
irregularities were committed by S/sri (1) R. Laxminarayana, the then I/c
EE(R&B), Warangal;(2) D. Sampath Rao, the then I/c EE(R&B), NH Dvn.,
Warangal (now retd);(3) K. Viswanatham, the then Dy.EE(R&B), NH Sub-
Dvn, Jangaon; (4) N. Sudershan Reddy, the then AEE(R&B), NH Sub-Dvn.,
Jangaon;(5) B. Nageswara Chari, the then AEE(R&B), NH Sub-Dvn.,
Jangaon; and (6) B. Satyanarayana, the then AEE(R&B), NH Sub-Dvn.,
Jangaon (now retd) in “Maintenance of road from Km.25/0 to 140/0 of
Hyderabad – Bhupalapatnam Road (NH-202)” in the year 2007.
2. As per the directions of the Government, vide reference second read
above, the Engineer-in-Chief(R&B), Admn. & NH issued charges, vide
reference third read above, against the above said officers, for their lapses
/irregularities pointed out in respect of the said work.
3. The charged officers submitted their WSD and on their WSD, the ENC
(R&B), Admn. furnished his remarks, vide reference fourth read above.
4. After examining the WSDs of the charged officers, orders were issued,
vide reference fifth read above, appointing Sri K. Sudarshan, the then Chief
Engineer(R&B), Designs & Planning, Hyderabad, as Inquiry Officer to inquire
into the charges framed against the above said charged officers.
5. The Inquiry Officer submitted his Inquiry report, vide reference sixth
read above. A copy of the Inquiry report was furnished to the Charged
officers, vide reference seventh read above, as per APCS (CCA) Rules, 1991.
The Charged Officers submitted their representations, on the Inquiry Report,
vide reference eighth read above , requesting to drop further action against
them.
6. After careful examination of the matter, Government decide and hereby
drop charges and further action against S/sri (1) R. Laxminarayana, the then
I/c EE(R&B), Warangal; (2) D. Sampath Rao, the then I/c EE(R&B), NH Dvn.,
Warangal (now retd.); (3) K.Viswanatham, the then Dy.EE(R&B), NH Sub-
Dvn.,

Jangaon; (4) N.Sudershan Reddy the then AEE(R&B), NH Sub-Dvn.,
Jangaon; (5) B. Nageswarachari, the then AEE(R&B), NH Sub-Division,
Jangaon and (6) B. Satyanarayana, the then AEE(R&B), NH Sub-Division,
Jangaon (now retd.); and also warn them (except Sri D. Sampath Rao, the
then I/c EE(R&B), NH Dvn., Warangal and B. Satyanarayana, the then
AEE(R&B), NH Sub-Dvn., Jangaon, since they are retired) to be more
careful in respect of irregularities committed in “Maintenance of road from
Km.25/0 to 140/0 of Hyderabad – Bhupalapatnam Road (NH-202)”.
7. The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), Admn. & NH shall take necessary action
accordingly.
