GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Contingency Fund-Advances for meeting unforeseen expenditure-Sanctioned FINANCE (BG.I) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 847 Dated:13-03-2012. ORDER:- The Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby authorizes the sanction of an advance of Rs.1,08,000/- (Rupees One lakh eight thousand only) from the Contingency Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh for the purpose of meeting the expenditure to be incurred on the scheme mentioned in the Annexure pending authorization of the expenditure by the Legislature. The advance now sanctioned and the expenditure to be incurred against it shall be accounted for as indicated in Rule 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Contingency Fund Rules. The Accountant General, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall maintain separate classified and consolidated abstracts for recording the expenditure met out of the advances from the Contingency Fund. The Drawing Officers shall quote the number and date of the order sanctioning the scheme and this order on all bills relating to the scheme and also indicate therein prominently that the expenditure is met from the Contingency Fund and the expenditure is to be classified under MH 8000 Contingency Fund. The Drawing Officer i.e., the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, AP., Hyderabad shall furnish the particulars of advance sanctioned, drawl of amounts i.e. the amount drawn the voucher number and date name of the treasury and head of account to the Accountant General, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad and to the Finance(BG.I) Department immediately after the amount is drawn. The Department of Secretariat are also requested to furnish these particulars while sending the proposals for obtaining supplementary grant towards recoupment of advance to the Contingency Fund. This advance from the Contingency Fund will lapse soon after the Appropriation Bill relating to the regular Annual Budget or the Supplementary Estimates where this advance is included towards recoupment to the Contingency Fund is passed by the Legislature.
