ORDER:
Sri P.Prasad, Section Officer, Transport, Roads & Buildings Department, in his
representation in the reference read above, has stated that he was selected as Typist by
the District Selection Committee, Krishna District and allotted to District Treasury Office,
Krishna District and he joined in that post on 02.01.1987. While he was working as
Typist, the District Collector, Krishna has re-allotted him as Junior Assistant in the Excise
Department. As per the said orders of Collector, Krishna District his services in the
District Treasury Office were terminated w.e.f. 19.05.1987 F.N. He has joined duty as
Junior Assistant in Excise Circle Office, Avanigadda on 01.06.1987. Consequent on
selection by Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission under Group-II B Services, as
Typist-Cum-Assistant, he has joined in A.P.Secretariat in Irrigation & Command Area
Development(PW)Department on 19.08.1988. He has requested the Government to
condone the interruption in between two spells of Government Service at District level,
i.e., from 19.05.1987 to 31.05.1987 under Rule 28 of the A.P.Revised Pension Rules,
1980.
2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, have decided to accept the
request of the individual. Accordingly, Government hereby order that the interruption of
the service of Sri P.Prasad, Section Officer, Transport, Roads & Buildings Department, in
between two spells of Government Service at District level, i.e., from 19.05.1987 to
31.05.1987 be condoned as per Rule 28 of Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980
for the purpose of calculating pensionary benefits.
3. Certified that necessary entries have been made in the Service Register of the
individual.
4. This Order issues with the concurrence of Finance(Pen.II) Department, vide their
U.O.No.33575/339/A1/2011, Dated:02.01.2012.
