HIGHER EDUCATION (TE-II) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 89 Dated:01-03-2012 Read the following: 1) G.O.Ms.No.50, Higher Education (TE.II) Dept, Dt. 22.05.2010. 2) Govt.Memo.No.16456/TE.II/2010-1, H.E.(TE.II)Dept., dt.10.01.2011. 3) From the Central Project Advisor, NPIU, New Delhi, Lr.No. AC/TEQIP-II/1.2/11/1840, dt.19.12.2011. 4) From the State Project Advisor & CTE, Hyderabad, Lr.No.TEQIP/SPFU-AP/756/2011 – Vol. XI, dt.30.12.2011. -0o0- ORDER: In the G.O.1st read above orders were issued for Administrative sanction for an outlay of Rs.263 crores for TEQIP - II Project. 2. In the reference 4th read above, the Commissioner of Technical Education and State Project Advisor, Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme-II (TEQIP-II), A.P., Hyderabad, has stated that the Central Project Advisor, National Project implementation Unit (NPIU), Noida has intimated that the A.P State can sign the MoU with Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad under Sub-Component (SC) 1.2 of the Technical Education Quality Improvement Project-II (TEQIP-II). 3. Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Commissioner of Technical Education and State Project Advisor, Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme-II (TEQIP-II), A.P., Hyderabad, hereby accord permission to sign the MoU with Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad for participating under SC 1.2 of TEQIP-II. 4. Government also consider to impose the following additional conditions in the MoU already approved vide reference 2nd read above while signing the MoU with the above selected institution. The Commissioner of Technical Education is requested to include the following conditions in the MoU, to ensure their eligibility all through the project duly obtaining an affidavit in the prescribed format stating that if the conditions are not met, they will be discontinued in the project and repay all the grants sanctioned till that point of time. The additional conditions are as follows: The institution shall:- i. Obtain AICTE approvals every year. ii. Obtain University affiliation and to be kept in force all through the project. iii. Apply for Autonomous status to UGC as per prescribed norms. iv. Not to advertise their selection in TEQIP for attracting enrollments. v. Not to charge capitation fee from students.
