Dated: 03-03-2012. Read the following:- 1. From the CTE, Hyd., Lr.No.K3/18454-1/09, Dt.16.11.2011, 2.From the CTE, Hyd., Lr.No.K3/18454-1/09, Dt.23-01-2012 3.G.O.Ms.No.1, Finance (Works & Projects-F7)Deptt., Dt.25.2.2012 O R D E R: In the reference 1st read above the CTE, Hyderabad has informed that (52) Govt. Polytechnics have been started during the years 2008-2011 and land has been identified for 39 Polytechnics. Government have accorded Administrative sanctions for the following works and works are in progress in all the (30) Polytechnics as shown below:- No.of Estd.cost Polytechnics. ----------------------------------- 1. Buildings under construction with State Budget 05 Rs.20.00 Cr. 2.Buildings constructed with PADA funds 02 Rs. 9.01 cr 3.Buildings under construction with MHRD funds 01 Rs. 8.00 cr 4.Buildings constructed with RPB funds 01 Rs. 2.80 cr 5.I phase (Block-A) under NABARD-RIDF-XVI 21 Rs.42.00 cr ------------------------------------ Total 30 Rs.81.81 cr ---------------------------------- 2. The Commissioner of Technical Education, Hyderabad has further stated that there is a need to construct buildings for (9) more new Govt. Polytechnics for which the AICTE has accorded approvals up to 2012 and for which land is identified and are functioning. The Commissioner of Technical Education has submitted two separate proposals with detailed project reports as prepared by APHMHIDC for inclusion under RIDF-XVII to the Government for construction of buildings for these newly established Government Polytechnics to the tune of Rs.45.80 crores as follows: List of 09 Govt. The Commissioner of Technical Education, Hyderabad., has also stated that there is no allocation for Technical Education Department under NABARD RIDF XVII. Hence it is proposed to take up the construction of buildings for above (9) newly established Govt. Polytechnics from the normal state plan budget. . As per AICTE norms it is mandatory for every technical institution to have land, buildings, infrastructure and staff for getting further extension of approval. 4. The Commissioner of Technical Education, Hyderabad has further requested the Govt., to kindly examine the proposal and accord administrative sanction for Rs.45.80 crores for taking up the construction of buildings for the said (9) newly established Govt. Polytechnics . 5. The Commissioner of Technical Education, Hyderabad in his Lr., 2nd read above, requested the Govt., to allot the works of construction of buildings for (09) newly established Govt. Polytechnics to the following executive agencies: 1 APHMHIDC, Hyderabad. 2. A.P.State Police Housing Corporation, Hyderabad. 6. Government after careful examination, in principle hereby accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.45.80 crores (Rupees Forty Five Crores and Eighty Lakhs only) for construction of above said (9) newly established Government Polytechnics buildings and entrust the works to APHMHIDC, Hyderabad and A.P.State Police Housing Corporation, Hyderabad, subject to following two stage administrative approval as laid down in reference 3rd cited. 7. The Commissioner of Technical Education, A.P.,Hyderabad shall take necessary further action duly following the procedure as per the orders issued in the reference 3rd read above. 8. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.HE) Department vide their U.O.No.1164/78/Expr.HE/12, Dt.1.3.2012.
