GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Finance Department – Introduction of Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS) – Constitution of a Committee for each of the Financial Management Modules – Orders – Issued. ********************************************************************************* FINANCE (OP.I) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 963 Dated.17-03-2012 O R D E R:- The Government of Andhra Pradesh has spearheaded several IT initiatives in the past two decades in order to cater to their day to day Financial Operations. With a view to expand its IT operations for effective Public Finance Management, it has decided to introduce a Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS) for providing seamless interface with all stakeholders and for establishing an efficient mechanism of electronic information sharing with external stakeholders, especially in Budgeting and Accounting processes, which will increase efficiency in financial transactions, transparency in operations, thus facilitating effective control and accountability at all levels. 2. After careful consideration of the suggestions incorporated in the Inception Report, the Government hereby constitutes various Committees for each of the Financial Management Modules annexed to this order to ensure extensive and intensive participation of all stakeholders at all stages of CFMS operationalisation. 3. The Committees constituted under CFMS as annexed to this order shall meet regularly consider all aspects of the terms of reference of the Committee, in great detail, ensure close interaction with other Committees and report the progress on a day-to-day basis to the Principal Finance Secretary (R&E) and ensure that the task assigned to them is completed in the prescribed time frame as per the instructions issued from time to time. 4.
