Ministry of Culture South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur to Organise “Kala Mahotsav” on 13–14 March 2026 Posted On: 11 MAR 2026 4:33PM by PIB Mumbai Nagpur : 11 March 2026 The South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), Nagpur, an autonomous cultural organisation under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, will organise a two-day “Kala Mahotsav” on 13 and 14 March 2026 at 6:30 PM at the SCZCC Premises in Nagpur. The festival will feature distinguished performances in music and theatre. Nagpur Municipal Corporation Mayor Nagpur, Nita Thackeray will grace the function as the Chief Guest for inauguration. On 13 March 2026, the festival will open with “Kabir Gayan” by renowned Chhattisgarh-based singer and Padma Shri awardee Dr. Bharti Bandhu, known for his distinctive style of Kabir singing and for popularising Sufi, Kabir and folk music traditions. The second presentation on the same day will be the play “Bharat Milap”, developed during a theatre workshop organised by the South Central Zone Cultural Centre at Khajuraho.
