The Grand Finale of the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 (Mumbai Zone), organised by the
Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports through the MY Bharat platform, concluded successfully at
Dr. D.Y. Patil University. Held over two days (12–13 April 2026), the event brought together
youth participants from Maharashtra, Goa, and Puducherry.
The program commenced with a tribute to the veteran singer Asha Bhosle. This was followed by
the garlanding of a portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Subsequently, ‘MY Bharat’ in the
Maharashtra and Goa region State Director Amit Punde, conducted an engaging and informative
session on ‘MY Bharat’.
A key highlight of the event was the expert panel discussions centred on important themes of
the Union Budget 2026, including Viksit Krishi and Human Capital development. The discussions
featured distinguished panelists such as Sachin Jadhav; Akshay Khoragade; Gaurav Gupta; Amit
Gupta; Rajlakshmi Patil; and Vinay Kumar Aware. The session was effectively moderated by
Sanket Kalambe, with enthusiastic participation from youth through interactive dialogue.Additionally, District Information Officer Thane Manoj Sanap, addressed the youth participants
and motivated them to actively engage in nation-building initiatives, emphasizing the
importance of informed participation and awareness in shaping public policy.
The programme also featured a virtual address by, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports
Mansukh Mandaviya, who appreciated the proactive role of youth in shaping India’s
development journey. He emphasized the significance of the Panch Pran vision articulated by
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging young citizens to actively contribute towards achieving the
vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
Further strengthening the significance of the initiative, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi
conveyed a message appreciating the widespread participation and the spirit of constructive
dialogue fostered through Budget Quest 2026. He highlighted that such platforms empower
youth to contribute actively to policymaking and play a vital role in shaping India’s growth
trajectory, while reinforcing participatory governance. The programme concluded with this
inspiring message from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In this 2-day event programme, the Nari Shakti Youth Parliament, organised under the theme
“Nari Shakti: Viksit Bharat Ki Awaaz – Strengthening Inclusive Democracy,” witnessed the
participation of over 350 women engaging in parliamentary-style discussions and adopting a
resolution supporting enhanced representation of women in legislative institutions. The
programme was graced by Sujata Patil.Overall, the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 Finale witnessed the participation of 750 selected
youth, who actively engaged with experts and policymakers, reinforcing the vision of Viksit
