TAMIL NADU FOOD SAFETY AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATIONS UNDER FOOD SAFETY AND STANDARDS ACT APPOINTMENT OF FOOD SAFETY OFFICERS OF TAMIL NADU UNDER THE ACT (R.NO.4508/2024/S12/FSD) No. VI(1)/443(b)/2025. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 37 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (Central Act, 34 of 2006), the Commissioner of Food Safety, Tamil Nadu hereby appoints as Food Safety Officers for the entire state of Tamil Nadu. The following persons who had completed the training programme conducted by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) as stipulated in Rule 2.1.3 (iii) of Food Safety and Standards Rules 2011, for the purpose of performing the functions of Food Safety Officers under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the rules and regulations made there under.
