New Delhi, the 28th January, 2015
G.S.R. 64(E).ÑÑIn exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 read with section 24 of the Coastal Aquaculture
Authority Act, 2005 (24 of 2005), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Coastal
Aquaculture Authority Rules, 2005, namely:ÑÑ
In the Coastal Aquaculture Authority Rules, 2005, in Annexure-III,-
(a) in para B relating to ‘QUARANTINE’, in sub-para (1),-
(i) for the words, brackets and letters “post larvae (PL)”, the words, brackets and letters “parent post larvae (PPL)”
shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words “every stock”, the words, brackets and letters “every specific pathogen free (SPF) stock” shall be
substituted;
(b) in para D relating to “ SAFEGUARDS AND REGULATIONS FOR OPERATION OF HATCHERIES FOR SPF P.
MONODON”, in sub-para 10 relating to “Destruction of stock at unauthorised hatcheries or farms”, for the words “the
Inspection Team should destroy such stock through application of any methods/means deemed fit”, the words “the inspection
team may confiscate, dispose of and/or destroy the stock as it thinks fit” shall be substituted.
