The Central Govt. hereby declares the said industry to be a Public Utility Service for the purposes of the said Act, for a period of six months from the 23rd November 2014.
**Summary:**
This notification, S.O. 2945(E), issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, extends the declaration of the service in the industry engaged in the processing or production of fuel gases, coal gas, natural gas, and the like, as a Public Utility Service under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. Originally declared on May 15, 2014, effective from May 23, 2014, for six months, this extension, effective from November 23, 2014, prolongs the Public Utility Service designation for another six months. The notification is filed under F. No. S.11017/2/2003-IR(PL) and signed by Dheeraj Kumar, Joint Secretary.
