The Central Govt. hereby declares the said industry to be a Public Utility Service for the purposes of the said Act, for a period of six months from the 26th February 2014.
**Summary:**
This notification, S.O. 557(E), issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, extends the declaration of the Copper Mining Industry as a Public Utility Service under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. Originally declared a Public Utility Service for six months from August 26, 2013, via notification dated August 13, 2013, this extension, effective from February 26, 2014, prolongs the designation for an additional six months. The notification is issued under F. No. S.11017/11/97-IR(PL) and signed by A. C. PANDEY, Joint Secretary.
