The Central Govt. hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Govt. of India of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, number S.O. 296(E), dated the 31st January, 2013.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th October, 2014
S.O. 2775(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Building and Other
Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (27 of 1996), read
with Rule 10, Rule 16 and Rule 17 of the Building and Other Construction Workers’ (Regulation of
Employment and Conditions of Service) Central Rules, 1998, the Central Government hereby makes the
following amendment in the notification of the Government of India of the Ministry of Labour and
Employment, number S.O. 296(E), dated the 31st January, 2013 with effect from the date of publication of the
notification in the Official Gazette, namely:—
In the said notification, for serial numbers 3 and 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial
numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
“ (3) Shri Murali Mohan Maganti, – Member
Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), (Member of Parliament)
New Delhi.
(4) Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, – Member”
Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), (Member of Parliament)
New Delhi.
2. The Welfare Commissioner (Headquarter), Labour Welfare Division, Ministry of Labour and
Employment shall be the Secretary to the Central Advisory Committee and shall perform the functions as
specified under sub-rule (2) of rule 17.
3. The said Members shall hold office for the remainder term of the said Committee which was
constituted on the 31st January, 2013.

the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 31st January, 2013.
