ii. पदधारी समतु(cid:3) य <ेणी के सेवारत अिधका>रय के िलए यथा ?व ीकाय@ सदशृ िनयम और शतB के अनुसार अिधका>रक (cid:14)योग के
िलए प>रवहन सुिवधाC के िलए इस शत@ के अध य् धीन हकदार होगा (cid:1)क प>रवहन भ(cid:29)त ा के(cid:9)(cid:10) ीय सरकार के समतु(cid:3)य 9ेड/
वेतनमान वाले अिधका>रय के लागू अनुदशे / िनयम के अनुसार िविनयिमत हो।
iii. या(cid:13)ा भ(cid:29) त/े महगं ाई भ(cid:29) ते क(cid:19) अनुमित समतु(cid:3)य <ेणी के (cid:1)कसी अिधकारी पर यथा लागू िनयम के अनुसार होगी। पदधारी भारत

वाले (cid:1)कसी अिधकारी के िलए लागू एलटीसी क(cid:19) ?व ीकाय@ता हते ु हकदार ह।ै
ix. पदधारी क(cid:19) संिवदा िनयुि(cid:31) करने वाले (cid:14)ािधकारी अथा@त सं?क ृित मं(cid:13)ालय (cid:28)ारा उस आधार (र ) पर समाSत क(cid:19) जा सकती ह ै
जो सीसीएस आचरण िनयमावली के अनुसार आवTय क प>रवत@न सिहत लागू होते ह और िजससे िनयिु (cid:31) करने वाला

x. सीसीएस (सीसीए) िनयमावली, 1964 के (cid:14)ावधान आवTय क प>रवत@न सिहत पदधारी के आचरण तथा ऐसी (cid:1)कसी भी अनुवत7
कार@वाई पर लागू ह गे जो कला(cid:12)े(cid:13) (cid:14)ित(cid:17) ठान, चे(cid:9)न ई म; पदधारी के काय@काल के दौरान आवTय क ह ।

New Delhi, the 23rd February, 2015
S.O. 611(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) & (2)(d) of Section (31) of the
Kalakshetra Foundation Act, 1993 (No. 6 of 1994), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules vis-a-vis
Salary, allowances and other terms & conditions applicable to the post of Director, Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai,
appointed on contract basis:
Item No. Terms & Conditions
i. Pay & Allowances – As per RRs for the post of Director, the initial basic pay would be Rs. 37400, in the
pay scale of Rs.37400-67000 plus grade pay of Rs. 8900/- in addition to DA & HRA.
ii. The incumbent would be entitled to Transport facilities for official use on the same terms and conditions
as admissible to serving officials of equivalent rank subject to the condition that the Transport Allowance
is regulated as per instructions/Rules applicable to officers of the Central Govt. of equivalent grade/pay
scale.
iii. TA/DA may be allowed as per rules as applicable to an officer of equivalent rank. The incumbent would
be entitled to travel allowance for travel within and outside India subject to the condition that the
Traveling Allowance on tour is regulated as per instructions/Rules on tours to officers of the Central Govt.
of equivalent grade/pay scale.
iv. The incumbent would be entitled for Earned Leave, HPL, Commuted Leave in terms of provisions of
DOPT’s OM No. 12016/3/84-Estt(L) dated 12.04.1985 as amended from time to time and as contained in¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
Appendix-II to the CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972. Casual Leave would be admissible as admissible to an
officer holding analogous post in the Central Government.
v. The incumbent may be entitled for Residential Telephone facility equal to the serving officer of the rank
of Director in Government of India, as per Ministry of Finance Department of Expenditure OM No.
7(14)/2006-C&V/2006 dated 14.11.2006.
vi. The incumbent is entitled to the same Medical facilities which are being provided to the employees of
Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai.
vii. The incumbent is not entitled to Gratuity, Provident Fund & Pension.
viiii. The incumbent is entitled for admissibility of LTC as applicable to any officer holding analogous post in
the Central Government subject to the conditions stated in Rule 2 of CCS (LTC) Rules.
ix. The incumbent’s contract may be terminated by the appointing authority i.e. Ministry of Culture on the
ground(s) which apply mutatis-mutandis as per CCS Conduct Rules to the satisfaction of the appointing
authority.
x. The provisions of CCS (CCA) Rules 1964 are also applicable mutatis-mutandis in respect of the
incumbent’s conduct and for any consequential action as may be required during the incumbent’s tenure
in the Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai.
xi. The incumbent’s performance would be reviewed by the Chairman, Kalakshetra Foundation after every
one year. The performance reports would be sent to the Ministry.
2. This issues in consultation with the Ministries/Departments concerned including Ministry of Health & Family
Welfare & Deptt. of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice, with the concurrence of IFD (M/o Culture) vide AS & FA
(M/o Culture) U.O. Dy. No. 1232/IFD(MoC)/2015 dated 02.02.2015 and approval of Secretary (Culture), M/o Culture.
