The Central Govt in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) constituted a National Industrial Tribunal vide Ministry of Labours Notification No. L-51014-1-2000-IR(PG) dated 22nd August, 2008 with headquarters at Kolkata and appointed Justice Shri C.P. Mishra as its presiding Officer.

पीठासीन अ िधकारी के :प म(cid:28) िनयु(cid:31) (cid:3)कया और उ(cid:31) अ िधिनयम क$ धारा-10 क$ उप धारा (1क) <ारा 0द= का 0योग करते ?ए उ(cid:31)
औ*ो िगक िववाद को (cid:7)याय िनण(cid:20)यन हते ु उपरो(cid:31) रा;ीय औ*ो िगक (cid:7)याया िधकरण को सFपा गया।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 29th January, 2014
S.O. 286(E).— Whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that an Industrial dispute exists between
the workmen in the category of plantation staff and the employers of plantations in the States of Kerala, Karnataka
and Tamil Nadu.
And Whereas the Central Government was of the opinions that the above dispute was of the nature that
workmen in the category of plantation staff and the employers of plantations belonged to more than one State are
interested in, or affected, by such a dispute and should be adjudicated by a National Industrial Tribunal.
And Whereas the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7B of the Industrial
Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) constituted a National Industrial Tribunal vide Ministry of Labour’s Notification No.
L-51014/1/2000-IR(PG) dated 22nd August, 2008 with headquarters at Kolkata and appointed Justice Shri C.P. Mishra
as its presiding Officer and in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1A) of Section 10 of the said Act,
referred the said industrial dispute to the said National Tribunal for adjudication.
And Whereas Justice Shri C.P. Mishra relinquished charge of the above said National Industrial Tribunal on
19.4.2013(FN).
Now, therefore, a National Industrial Tribunal is constituted with headquarters at Kolkata with
Justice Shri Dipak Saha Ray, as its Presiding Officer and the above said dispute is referred to the said National
Industrial Tribunal for adjudication with the direction that Justice Shri Dipak Saha Ray shall proceed in the matter
from the stage at which it was left by Justice Shri C.P. Mishra and dispose off the same according to law.
