ACQUISITION OF LANDS NOTICE UNDER SUB-SECTION 1 OF SECTION 15 OF THE TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001 (LA- VI(1)/10517703/2025) No. VI(1)/443(e)/2025. The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the schedule below to be acquired for Highways for the purpose to wit for the Construction of road over bridge in lieu of existing Level Crossing No.48 at Railway KM 77/700 – 800 between Nagore and Nagapattinam Railway Stations at KM.0/2 of Nagapattinam – Akkaraipettai – Velanganni Road in Nagapattinam Town of Nagapattinam Taluk & District and it having already been decided that the amount of compensation to be awarded for the land is to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by Divisional Engineer, Highways (Schemes), Thanjavur. The following notice issued under sub section 1 of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act No. 34 of 2002). NOTICE Under sub section 1 of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the Governor of Tamil Nadu is hereby acquires the lands specified in the schedule below and measuring an extent of 1082.5 Sq.mts to the same, a little more or less needed for Highways purpose, to wit for the Construction of road over bridge in lieu of existing Level Crossing No.48 at Railway KM 77/700 – 800 between Nagore and Nagapattinam Railway Stations at KM.0/2 of Nagapattinam – Akkaraipettai – Velanganni Road in Nagapattinam Town, Taluk and District. The plan of the lands is kept in the Office of the Special District Revenue Officer (LA), Highways, Thanjavur and O/o the Special Tahsildar (LA) Highways, Nagapattinam may be inspected on any day during office hours.
