The Companies Act 2013, appoints following persons as Judicial Members and Technical Members in the National Company Law Tribunal for a period of five years.
This notification, S.O. 2977(E), issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on June 20, 2018, announces the appointment of several individuals as Judicial and Technical Members to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) under the powers conferred by Section 408 of the Companies Act, 2013. The appointees will receive a pay scale of Rs. 67,000-79,000 (pre-revised) and will serve for a term of five years or until the age of sixty-five, whichever occurs first.

These appointments are subject to the final outcomes of O.A No. 2697 of 2016 pending before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Delhi, and Civil Misc. Writ Petition Number 38736 of 2016 pending before the High Court of Allahabad. The notification was issued under File No. A-12023/02/2017-Ad.IV by Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary.
