जवजनयम, 2017 में और आगे संिोधन, जो भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण, केंद्र सरकार के पूवा नुमोदन
से, खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक अजधजनयम, 2006 (2006 का संख यांक 34) का धारा 92 का उप-धारा (2) के खंड (ड़)
द्वारा प्रदत्त िजतियय का प्रयोग करते हुए, करने के जलए इन जवजनयम का प्रारूप इससे प्रभाजवत हो सकने वाले सभी
व् यजतियय का सूचना के जलए उ्त अजधजनयम का धारा 92 का उप-धारा (1) का अपेक्षा के अनुसार एतद ्द्वारा प्रकाजित
करती है और एतद द्व् ारा नोरटस ददया जाता है दक उ्त प्रारूप जवजनयम पर उस जतजथ से साठ ददन का अवजध समाप्त
होने के बाद जवचार दकया जाएगा, जजस जतजथ को इस अजधसूचना को प्रकाजित करने वाले राजपत्र का प्रजतयााँ जनता
को उपलब् ध कराई जाएाँगी

प्रारूप जवजनयम
1. (1) इन जवजनयम को खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (जैव खाद्य) संिोधन जवजनयम, 2020 कहा जा सकता ह ै
(2) य े इनके काया न्वयन का जतजथ स े लागू ह गे, जो दक पहली जनवरी अथवा पहली जलु ाई होगी और यह इनके राजपत्र
में अंजतम प्रकािन का जतजथ स ेन्यूनतम 180 ददन होगी
2. खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (जैव खाद्य) जवजनयम, 2017 म,े -
(i) जवजनयम 4 के उप-जवनयीयम (2) के पश्चात , जनम्नजलजखत को रखा जाएगा , अथा त ; -
“(3) संकलक या मध्यस्ट्थ जो छोटे मूल उत्पादक या उत्पादक संगठन स े जैजवक खाद्य एकत्र करते ह ैं और इस े
अंजतम उपभोतिया को सीध े बेचते ह,ैं उन्ह ें उप-जवजनयमन (1) म ें उजल्लजखत प्रणाजलय के प्रावधान स े छूट दी
जाती ह ै व े रेसजबजलटी के ररकॉड बनाए रखगें े और उप जवजनयम (1) म ें उजल्लजखत प्रणाजलय म ें स े दकसी एक
के प्रावधान का अनुपालन करेंगे इस तरह के उत्पाद पर भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण का
जैजवक लोगो नहीं लग सकेगा ”
(ii) जवजनयम 5 के उप-जवनयीयम (2) के पश्चात , जनम्नजलजखत को रखा जाएगा , अथा त ; -
“(3) पीजीएस-भारत के तहत रूपांतरण उत्पाद को 'पीजीएस-ग्रीन' के रूप म ें लेबल दकया जा सकता ह ै और
उन्ह ें "काब जनक म ें रूपांतरण" के रूप म ें भी लेबल दकया जा सकता ह ै एनपीओपी के तहत रूपातं रण उत्पाद को
"काब जनक म ें रूपांतरण" के रूप म ें लेबल दकया जा सकता ह ै और रूपांतरण के वर् का उल्लेख दकया जाएगा
इस तरह के रूपांतरण उत्पाद पर भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण का जैजवक लोगो नहीं लग
सकेगा ”

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th August, 2020
F.No. Stds/Organic/Notification-01/FSSAI-2019.—The draft of regulations further to amend the Food
Safety and Standards (Organic Foods) Regulation, 2017 which the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India
proposes to make with the previous approval of the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by
clause (v) of sub-section (2) of section 92 read with sub-section (3) of section 22 of the Food Safety and Standards
Act, 2006 (34 of 2006), is hereby published, as required by sub-section (1) of section 92 of the said Act for the
information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations will
be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of sixty days from the date on which the copies of the Official

Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and
Standards Authority of India, Food and Drug Administration Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi – 110002 or send it to
the e-mail address of the Food Authority at regulation@fssai.gov.in ;
The objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft
regulations before the expiry of the period specified above shall be considered by the Food Authority.
Draft Regulations
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Food Safety and Standards (Organic Foods) Amendment Regulations,
2020.
(2) They shall come into force with effective date for implementation to be either 1st January or 1st July subject
to a minimum of 180 days from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.
2. In the Food Safety and Standards (Organic Foods) Regulation, 2017, -
(i) in regulation 4, after sub-regulation (2), the following shall be inserted, namely; -
―(3) Aggregators or Intermediaries who collect organic food from small original producer or producer
organization and sell it to the end consumer directly are exempted from the provisions of the systems
referred in sub-regulation (1). They shall maintain records of traceability and comply with the provisions
of anyone of the systems mentioned in sub Regulations (1). Such products shall not carry Food Safety
and Standard Authority of India's organic logo.‖
(ii) in regulation 5, after sub-regulation (2), the following shall be inserted, namely; -
―(3) In-conversion products under PGS-India may be labelled as 'PGS-Green' and may also be labelled
as "In-conversion to organic". Conversion products under NPOP may be labelled as "In-conversion to
organic' and shall mention the year of conversion. Such In-conversion products shall not carry Food
Safety and Standard Authority of India's organic logo.‖
