Interested person likely to be affected by the said Rules may submit objections or suggestions within the period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of Official Gazette of this draft Rules are made available to the public. (i) These rules may be called the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Amendment) Rules, 2020. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Rules, 1959, in rule 8, clause (d), after the words “archaeological officer” the words “or Incredible India Tourist Facilitator (IITF) certification approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India for showing a visitor round” shall be inserted.
