Any person having any objection or suggestion with respect to the proposed modification may send the objection/suggestion in writing to the Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Delhi Development Authority, ‘B’ Block, Vikas Sadan, New Delhi-110023 within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of this notice. The person making the objection or suggestion should also give his/her name and address and telephone/ contact number(s) which should be legible. Modifications: Location Area Land use as per Land use Boundaries MPD-2021/ZDP Changed to 1 2 3 4 5 Gandhi 1.852 ‘Recreational’ ‘Transportation’ North: Hardayal Singh Library & Chandni Maidan Ha. (Neighbourhood (Multi Level Chowk Police Station; Park/Open Space) Parking) South: Road; East: H. C. Sen road; West: Metro station Chandni Chowk. Conditions: i) NDMC should design the Multi level parking and allied buildings on this site with all components of green buildings (such as use of solar panels, re-cycling of water, zero-waste discharge etc.). In addition to this, NDMC should also develop vertical gardens having green walls living walls with climbing plants or cascading ground covers both in the interiors as well as the exteriors. NDMC should also adopt other methods by which plants/ green cover can be integrated in the proposed built-up micro environment created by these structures by placing potted plants, flowering plants in the interior/ exterior and planting climbers and hanging plants along the pillars. ii) The design including the colour scheme of the multilevel parking to ensure blending with the surroundings in view of the heritage value of the area. iii) The multilevel parking to be developed as per the norms available for existing/ earmarked parking sites.
