(02)/एफएसएसएआई-2016, दिनांक 23 अगस्ट्त , 2016 (iv) फा. सं. तानक/ओएवंएफ/अजधसूचना(8)/एफएसएसएआई-2017, दिनांक 31 िलु ाई, 2018 पर (v) फा. सं. स्ट्टैंड्स/ऐडीाटव-03/अजधसूचना/एफएसएसएआई/2018, दिनांक 21 िुलाई, 2020। MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) NOTIFICATION Ne Delhi, the 10th November, 2020 No. Stds/SP-15/T(T(IMST).—The Government of India, after due deliberation has directed Food Safety and Standards Authority of India to prohibit blending in mustard oil and to facilitate manufacture and sale of pure mustard oil for domestic consumption. Consequently, the following draft of certain regulations, further to amend the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales ) Regulations, 2011, which the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India proposes to make with the previous approval of the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of section 92 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (34 of 2006), is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) thereof, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of sixty days from the date on which copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are made available to the public.[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािवर : असाधारण 3 Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi- 110002 or sent on email at regulation@fssai.gov.in. Objections or suggestions, which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft regulations before the expiry of the period so specified, shall be considered by the Food Authority. Draft Regulations 1. These regulations may be called the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Amendment Regulations, 2020. 2. In the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011,- (A) in regulation 2.1 relating to “Sale of certain admixtures prohibited”, in sub-regulation 2.1.1, after clause (10) the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - “(11) Any Multi sourced edible vegetable oil containing Mustard Oil manufactured on or after 1st October,2020.” (B) in regulation 2.3 relating to “Prohibition and Restriction on sale of certain products”, in sub-regulation 2.3.14, in clause (11) for the words “Blended Edible Vegetable Oil” wherever they occur, the following shall be substituted, namely: - “Multi sourced edible vegetable oil” ARUN SINGHAL, Chief Executive Officer [ADVT.-III/4/Exty./341/2020-21] Note. - The principal regulations were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide notification number F.
