S.O. 3686 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Destructive Insects
and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Plant
Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, namely:-
1. Short title and Commencement.- (1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into
India) (Sixth Amendment) Order, 2021.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Schedule VI.- In the Schedule VI to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order,
2003-
(i) Against serial number 53, entries relating to ‘Brassica spp. (Mustard, Rape/canola, Cabbage, Cauliflower,
Kohlrabi, Brussels sprouts, Broccoli, KnolKhol, Chinese Cabbage and other Cole crops)’ in column (2) will
be renumbered as (i) and after the item (i) so renumbered and the entries relating to, the following entries
