Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (27 of 1996) and in supersession of the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. 1616 ( E), dated the
16th November, 2005, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 16th
November 2005, Government hereby appoints the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table below, being Gazette
Officers of the Government to be the Registering Officers who shall exercise the powers conferred on Registering
Officers by or under the said Act, having jurisdiction as specified in column (3) of the said Table.

1617 ( E), dated the 16th November, 2005, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub-
section (ii), dated the 16th November 2005, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession, the Central Government hereby nominates the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table below, to be
