NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th January, 2015
G.S.R. 21(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President
hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation
(Gestetner-cum-Photocopier Operator) Recruitment Rules, 2014, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation (Gestetner-cum-Photocopier
Operator) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation (Gestetner-cum-Photocopier Operator)
Recruitment Rules, 2014, in the Schedule -
(i) Under column (7), after the existing entries, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
“Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Staff Selection Commission in the case of candidate
otherwise well qualified.
Note 2: The qualifications regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Staff Selection commission in
the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Sheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the
commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite
experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them”;
(ii) Under column (9), for the existing entry, the entry “Two years for direct recruits” shall be substituted.
