No. 03/L&O/RO/JMI/2015.—This is to notify for the information of all concerned that the President of India in his capacity as the Visitor of Jamia Millia Islamia has been pleased to accord his assent for amendment/addition to the existing Statute 37 of JMI Act, 1988 relating to the removal of a teacher or a member of the academic staff, as conveyed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Deptt. of Higher Education vide their letter No.F.6-9/2012- Desk-U dated 25th June, 2015. The amended Statute 37 as approved would now be read as shown in the Annexure.
