**Summary:**
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), Directorate General of Health Services, is recruiting a Research Scientist for Medical Device Diagnostics. The position is located in New Delhi, with required travel to States. The role involves undertaking technical assessments for devices/diagnostics, providing technical assistance for regulating medical devices/diagnostics, analyzing data/market research on quality assessments, and other assigned duties.
**Eligibility:**
Applicants must possess a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Instrumentation, Clinical or Biomedical Engineering, or a PG in Biotechnology from a recognized Institute/University. A Post Graduate Diploma in a similar discipline is desirable. The position offers a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50,000 per month. The initial tenure is up to July 31, 2018, with potential extensions based on work requirements.
