िावमल कर जांच सवमवत वनयुजोत करती ह -

(ii) क प्टन आरिाद ऄहमद, एएअइबी पूल ऑफ़ एजोसपर्टसघ, सद्य के रूप म ें
सवमवत, जब भी ऄपेवक्षतत होगा, ऄन्द य वििेषण ्ोंएएजेंवसयों की सहायता भी लगे ी।
सवमवत का मुख्य ालय नइ ददल्ल ी में होगा।
सवमवत ऄवधमानतः छह महीने के भीतर आसकी जांच पूरी करके ऄपनी ररपोटघ केन्दर ीय सरकार को ीत ् तुत करेगी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th May, 2017
S.O. 1758(E).—Whereas a Government of Maharashtra AW139 helicopter VT-CMM, was involved in an
accident at Latur, Maharashtra on 25.05.2017.
And whereas, it appears to the Central Government that it is expedient to investigate and determine the causes
and contributory factors leading to the said accident and make recommendations to avoid recurrence of such accidents in
future.
Now, in the exercise of the powers conferred by the Rule 11(1) of the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and
Incidents) Rules, 2012, the Central Government hereby directs that a formal inquiry in the accident be made.
Accordingly, the Central Government hereby appoints a Committee of Inquiry headed by Shri A X Joseph,
Deputy Director, AAIB with following members:
(i) Shri Jasbir Singh Larhga, Assistant Director as member
(ii) Capt. Irshad Ahmed, AAIB Pool of Experts as member
The committee will also take the assistance of other experts/agencies whenever required.
The headquarters of the Committee will be at New Delhi.
The Committee will complete its inquiry and submit its report to the Central Government preferably within six
months.
