इसके पश्चात ् उि अजधजनयम कहा गया ह)ै की धारा 5 ए के अधीन उि ठरि पद को भरने के जलए श्री एस.तलपात्रा,
न्यायाधीि, जत्रपुरा उच्च न्यायालय को नामजनदेजित दकया ह।ै
अत: अब, केंद्रीय सरकार उि अजधजनयम की धारा 5 ए के साथ धारा 4, पठित द्रारा गई िजियों का प्रयोग
करते हुए उि अजधसूचना म ेंजनम्नजलजखत और संिोधन करती ह,ै अथाात:्
उि अजधसूचना म ेंमद (ii) और उससे संबंजधत प्रजिजियों के स्ट्थान पर, जनम्नजलजखत मद को रखी िाएगी, अथाात्:-
“(ii) न्यायाधीिश्री एस.तलपात्रा, - सदस्ट्य”।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th July, 2020
S.O. 2446(E).—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal, constituted by the
Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Water Resources vide notification number S.O. 451(E) dated the
2nd April, 2004, consequent on the resignation of Justice B.P. Das;
And whereas, the Chief Justice of India has nominated Mr. Justice S. Talapatra, Judge, Tripura High Court to
fill the said vacancy under section 5A of the Inter-State River Water Disputes Act, 1956 (33 of 1956) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act);
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4, read with section 5A of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby makes the following amendments further to amend the said notification, namely:-
In the said notification, for item (ii) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted,
namely:-
“(ii) Shri Justice S. Talapatra
Judge of the High Court of Tripura - Member”.
