NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th September, 2018
G.S.R. 4900(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Culture
(Archaeological Survey of India) vide number S.O. 1219 (E), dated the 13th March, 2018, published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 20th March, 2018, the Central Government gave two
months’ notice of its intention to declare the ancient monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule annexed to the
said notification to be of national importance and a copy of the said notification was affixed in a conspicuous place near
the said ancient monument as required by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological
Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958);
And, whereas, copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public on 11th April, 2018;
And, whereas, no objection has been received from the public to making of such declaration by the Central
Government;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments
and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958), the Central Government hereby declares the said ancient
monument specified in the Site Plan and the Schedule annexed hereto, to be of national importance.
