पररवार कल्याण मंत्रालय की अजधसूचना स.ं का.आ. 3659(अ) ददनांक 10 अिूबर, 2019 म ें जनम्नजलजखत संिोधन
दकए िाते ह:ैं-
i पैरा (3) के तहत िम्मू और कश्मीर के संबंध म ें ताजलका म ें क्र.स.ं 10 पर प्रजवजि हटायी िाएगी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th February, 2020
S.O. 897(E).—Whereas on 10th October, 2019, the Medical Advisory Council of the National Medical
Commission was constituted in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 11 of the National Medical
Commission Act, 2019.
And whereas the Central Government, in pursuance of the clause (c) of Sub-section (2) of Section 11 of
the National Medical Act, 2019 and on the recommendation of the then State of Jammu & Kashmir, appointed
Dr. Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice Chancellor, Health University, Jammu & Kashmir as a member in Medical
Advisory Council representing State of Jammu & Kashmir.
And whereas, with the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019 coming into force, the State has
been reconstituted into two Union Territories namely Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Union
Territories of Ladakh. Therefore, Dr. Manoj Kumar Dhar has ceased to be a member of the Medical Advisory
Council representing State of Jammu & Kashmir.
And whereas, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in pursuance of the clause (d) of sub-
section (2) of section 11 of the National Medical Act, 2019 has nominated Dr. Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice
Chancellor, Health University, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Shri Chewang Phunsog (IAS Retd.),
Vice Chancellor of University of Ladakh as the representatives of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and
Union Territory of Ladakh respectively in the Medical Advisory Council of National Medical Commission.
Now, therefore, in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare number S.O. 3659(E) dated 10th October, 2019 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
Section 3, the following amendments are hereby made:-
(i) Under paragraph (3) in the table the entry at serial number10 in respect of Jammu & Kashmir
shall be deleted.[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3
(ii) Sub-section (ii) under paragraph (4), in the Table, after serial number 5 and the entries
relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:—
