NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st July, 2018
S .O. 3754(E).— Whereas the Central Government having been satisfied that the public interest so requires that
in pursuance of the provisions of sub-clause (vi) of the clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of
1947), declared by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, vide number
S.O. 335(E), dated 19th January, 2018 the services in the ‘Bank Note Paper Mill India Private Limited, Mysore,
Karnataka’ which is covered by item 32 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act,1947 (14 of 1947 ) to be a
public utility service for the purpose of the said Act, for a period of six months with effect from the 1st February, 2018;
And whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that the public interest requires extension of the said
period by a further period of six months;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 of
the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, the Central Government hereby declares that the said industry to be a public utility
service for the purposes of the said Act, for a period of six months with effect from the 1st August, 2018.
