No: 1-8/53/94-L-II/RTR/Exam Date: 06.07.2026 Acceptance of RTR (A), RTR(C) and RTR (P) issued by WPC, DoT In accordance with the provisions of the Bharatiya Vayuyan Adhiniyam, 2024 and the Radio Telephone Operator (Restricted) Certificate and Licence Rules, 2025, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken over Radio Telephone Operator (Restricted) Certificate and Licence Examination and the issuance of the RTR Certificate and Licence with effect from 01.12.2025. Accordingly, it is hereby informed that RTR Certificate or Licence issued or renewed till 15.07.2026 by the Wireless Planning & Coordination (WPC) Wing, DoT. Ministry of Communications shall only be accepted by DGCA for any licensing, examination or regulatory purpose. All candidates seeking issuance, renewal or any other service relating to the RTR Certificate or Licence are advised to obtain the same only through the procedures prescribed by DGCA.
