A notification from the Human Resources Management Department, G.O. Ms. No. 39, dated 30th July 2025, details an amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954. SRO B-41/2025 states that in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 318 and the proviso to clause (3) of Article 320 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 (Volume-I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987):
In ANNEXURE-V, in clause 1A, the expression "in the ratio 8:1" shall be omitted.
