[G.O. Ms. No. 188, Health and Family Welfare (C2), 19th June 2025, ஆனி 5, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-30/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following Amendments to the Adhoc Rules published with the erstwhile Health, Education and Local Administration Department Notification SRO.No.A.3530 of 1959, dated the 27th May 1959, at pages 841 and 842 of Part I of the Fort.St.George Gazette, dated the 17th June 1959 as, subsequently amended. 2. The amendments hereby made shall come into force with effect from 21.09.2021. Amendments In the said Rules, in rule, in clause (b), for sub-clause(ii), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:- “(ii) Must have passed a one year certificate course in Audiometry from Government Medical Institutions under the control of the Director of Medical Education and Research or in any other institution recognized by the State or Central Governments (OR) Must have passed Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) in any University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. (OR) Must have passed Bachelor Science in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) in any University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India”. Amendments to the Special Rules for the Post of Dental Mechanic and Dental Hygienist in respect of Age and Educational Qualification for Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service. [G.O. Ms. No. 189, Health and Family Welfare (C2), 19th June 2025, ஆனி 5, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-31/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service (Section 21 in Volume Ill of Tamil Nadu Service Manual, 2016). Amendments In the said Special rules, in Part-II, under Branch-IV General:- (1) in rule 6, in sub-rule (a), in the Table,- (a) against the Category "Dental Mechanic" under Class-XV in column (1), for the entry in column (2) thereof, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :- "Must not have completed the age of 32 years". (b) against the Category "Dental Hygienist" under Class-XV in column (1), for the entry in column (2) thereof, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :- "Must not have completed the age of 32 years". (2) in Annexure II (referred to in rule 7), under Class XV, (a) against the "Category 1-Dental Mechanic" in column (1), for the entries in column (2) thereof, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-July 16, 2025] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 85 "(i) A pass in HSC with science subjects, namely:- (a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; or (b) Physics, Chemistry and Biology; (ii) Must have passed two years Diploma in Dental Mechanic conducted in Government Medical Institutions under the control of Director of· Medical Education and Research (or) in any other institution recognized by the State or Central Government; and (iii) He should have registered in State Dental Council: Provided that candidates with SSLC and certificate course of Dental Mechanic who have passed before publication of Dental Council of India Regulations, 2008 and registered as Dental Mechanic in the Tamil Nadu State Dental Council shall be eligible". (b) against the "Category 2-Dental Hygienist" in column (1 ), for the entries in column (2) thereof, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- "(i) A pass in HSC with science subjects, namely:- (a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, or (b) Physics, Chemistry and Biology; (ii) Must have passed two years Diploma in Dental Hygienist conducted in Government Medical Institutions under the control of Director of Medical Education and Research (or) in any other institution recognized by the State or Central Government; and (iii) He should have registered in State Dental Council: Provided that candidates· with SSLC and certificate course of Dental Hygienist who have passed before publication of Dental Council of India Regulations, 2008 and registered as Dental Hygienist in the Tamil Nadu State Dental Council shall be eligible". Ms. No. 190, Health and Family Welfare (C2), 19th June 2025, ஆனி 5, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-32/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Aricle 309 of the Constitution of India the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service (Section 21 in Volume Ill of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016). Amendments In the said Special Rules, in part II, under the heading Branch IV-General, in the Annexure II referred to in rule 7, under the heading Class II,- (1) for the entries in column (2) against the entry "Category 2 - Radiographer" in column (1) thereof, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- "Must have passed two years Diploma course in Radio Diagnosis Technology conducted by the Board of Paramedical Education under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Government of Tamil Nadu at Government Medical Institution or from any other institution recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu for this purpose or A Degree in B.Sc., (Radiography and Imaging Technology)/ B.Sc., (Radio Diagnosis Technology) and B.Sc., (Radiology and Imaging Technology') in any University recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu"; (2) for the entries in column (2) against the entry "Category-2A, Radiotherapy Technician" in column (1) thereof, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-86 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part III—Sec. 1(b) "Must have passed two years Diploma course in Radiotherapy Technology conducted by Board of Paramedical Education under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Government of Tamil Nadu at Government Medical Institution or from any other institution recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu for this purpose or A Degree in B.Sc., (Radiotherapy Technology) in any University recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu".
