In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Adhoc Rules for the post of Educational Officer (Kallar Reclamation). Issued with the Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes Welfare Department, Notification No. SRO B-421/90, published at pages 254-258 of Part III—Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 21st November 1990. Amendments. In the said Rules:- (1) for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “(3) Appointment:- Appointment to the post shall be made by transfer from among the holders of the post of Head Master in Higher Secondary Schools in Kallar Reclamation Schools.” (2) in rule 4, (i) sub-rule (a) shall be omitted; (ii) in sub-rule (b) in clause (a) in sub Clause (iv) for the item (b) the following item shall be substituted, namely:- “(b) Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test Paper-I and Paper-II" Provided that the persons who have passed the Deputy Inspector Test in full before December, 2017, instead of passing Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test Paper - I & II, are also eligible for appointment by transfer to the post of Educational Officer.
