* Under Rule 5 (Qualification), Class-IV is amended, that the Accountancy Lower Grade certification is required unless the candidate has a B.Com. Degree/B.Com (Double Degree) Distance Education Mode (1 year) awarded by Annamalai University.
* Under Rule 5 (Qualification), Class-IV is amended, that the candidate Must have worked in sections dealing with the subjects relating to Accounts, Audit, budgeting or control of expenditure for a period of not less than five years as Superintendent, Accountant or Auditor.
* Direct Recruitment candidates must have passed Inter Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (OR) Inter Examination of the Institute of Cost Accountants (OR) B.Com.
* Under Rule 6 (Probation), the probation period is amended to be one year for candidates appointed by transfer and two years for direct recruitment in Class III and IV.
