Ms. No. 119, Health and Family Welfare (L2), 12th May 2025, சித்திரைை 29, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-18/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following rules:- 2. The rules hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 30th July, 2014. Rules The Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016) and the Special Rules applicable to the holders of permanent post in Class-I of the Tamil Nadu Public Health Service shall apply to the holders of the temporary post of Joint State Maternal and Child Health Officer, sanctioned from time to time, for the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, subject to the modifications specified in the following rules:- 1. Constitution.- The post shall constitute a separate category in a distinct class of the said service. 2. Appointment.- Appointment to the post shall be made by promotion from among the holders of the posts of Nursing Officer Principal or Health Educator Training Officer (Non-Medical) (promoted from the post of Maternal and Child Health Officer) or Assistant Superintendent or Lecturer in Health Visiting in Tamil Nadu Public Health Service in combined seniority. 3. Appointing authority.- The appointing authority for the post shall be the Government. 4. Preparation of annual list of approved candidates and crucial date.- A list of approved candidates for appointment to the post, by promotion shall be prepared annually and the crucial date on which the candidates should have acquired the prescribed qualifications shall be the Fifteenth day of February of every year. 5. Pay.- There shall be paid to the holder of the post, a monthly pay calculated in the pre-revised scale of pay of Pay Band-Ill Rs.15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/-: Provided that with effect from the 1st January 2016, a monthly pay shall be calculated in the revised scale of pay in Level 26 - Rs.61,900- 1,96,700/- with monetary benefit from 01.10.2017 under the Tamil Nadu Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2017. 6. Savings.- Nothing contained in these rules shall adversely affect any person holding the post on the date of issue of these rules. P. SENTHILKUMAR, Principal Secretary to Government. Ms. No. 245, Revenue & Disaster Management Survey & Settlement Wing, SS4(2)Section, 15th May 2025, ரைவாகாாசி 1, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-19/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service (Section 31 in Volume-III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016). 2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th July, 1987 Amendments. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2nd March 2017. Amendments.
