Ms. No. 89, Transport (H1), 28th September 2016, ¹ó†ì£C 12, ¶¡ºA, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2047.] No. SRO B-71/2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Service (Section 16 of Part III-A in Volume-II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1969). 2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 17th May 2012. AMENDMENT In the said Special Rules, in Part-II, under "Class L1, Tamil Nadu State Transport Department - Motor Vehicles Maintenance Organisation", for the expression "Works Manager" wherever it occurs, the expression "General Manager" shall be substituted. LATE NOTIFICATION: NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, DAIRYING AND FISHERIES DEPARTMENT Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Engineering Service [G.O. Ms. No. 157, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (FS2), 17th October 2016, Purattasi-1, Thunmugi, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2047.] No. SRO B-72/2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu Fisheries Engineering Service. 2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 12th January 1983. AMENDMENT In the said rules,-(1) under the heading "Notification", for the expression "Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987", the expression "Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1969" shall be substituted. (2) In rule 2, in sub-rule (a), In "THE TABLE, "- (i) under the heading "Method of Appointment" in column (2), against "Category 3 Assistant Executive Engineer" in coloum (1), the word "or" that occurs in between the expression "(i) By promotion from among the holders of the post of Assistant Engineer in category 4" and "(ii) By recruitment by transfer from among the holders of the post of Junior Engineer in the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Engineering sub-ordinate service shall be deleted; (ii) under the heading "Method of Appointment" in column (2), against "Category 4 Assistant Engineer" in column (1), the word "or" that occurs in between the expression "(i) By direct recruitment" and "(ii) By recruitment by transfer from among the holders of the Post of Junior Engineer in the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Engineering Sub-ordinate Service," shall be deleted.
