Ms. No. 108, Health and Family Welfare [IM-2(1)], 18th April 2017, CˆF¬ó 5, «ýM÷‹H, F¼õœÙõ˜ ݇´-2048.] No. SRO B-30/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the rules published with the Health and Famly Planning Notification S.R.O.B-421/76 at pages 454-457 of Part III—Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 4th August 1976. 2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the date of Publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. AMENDMENT In the said Rules, after rule 3, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:- “3A. Appointing Authority. - The Commissioner of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy shall be the appointing authority for the post.” J. RADHAKRISHNAN, Principal Secretary to Government. TAMIL DEVELOPMENT AND INFORMATION DEPARTMENT Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Service [G.O. Ms. No. 25, Tamil Development and Information (ADMN.I) 28th February 2017, Maasi 16, Thunmugi, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2048.] No. SRO B-31/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Service (Section 16 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Service Manual, 1969). 2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 18th December 2013. AMENDMENTS In the said Special Rules- (1)In Part I, for CLASS X, and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- “CLASS X - DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS, ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS AND DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS.”; (2) in Part II, (i) for CLASS X, and the entries relating thereto, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:- “CLASS X - DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS, ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS AND DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS.”; (ii)in rule 1, for the entries “Category- (1) Director of Information and Public Relations. (2) Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations. ”, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “Category - 1 Director of Information and Public Relations Category - 1(a) Additional Director of Information and Public RelationsMay 17, 2017] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 69 Category-2 Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations.:; (iii) in rule 2, in the table, after the category “Director of Information and Public Relations” in Column (1) and the corresponding entries in Column (2) thereof, the following category and the entries shall respectively be inserted, namely:- “Additional Director of information and Promotion from the Category of Joint Directors Public Relations in the Information and Public Relations Department”; (iv) in rule 3, in the table, after the category “1. Director of information and Public Relations” in column (1) and the corresponding entries in column (2) thereof, the following category and the entries shall respectively, be inserted, namely:- “1(a) Additional Director of information and Must have served as Joint Director Public Relations in Information and Public Relations Department for a period of not less than one year”.
