NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th September, 2018
No. DE-87(2)-2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20 of the Dentists Act, 1948,
the Dental Council of India, with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the
following Amendment to the Principle Dental Council of India, Master of Dental Surgery Course Regulations,
2017, published in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated 05th September, 2017
namely:—
1. Short title and Commencement:-
(i) These Regulations may be called the Dental Council of India, Master of Dental Surgery Course
(2nd Amendment) Regulations, 2018.
(ii) They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. The words “remote and/or difficult areas” shall be substituted with “remote and/or difficult or rural
areas” in third line and the words “remote and difficult areas” shall be substituted with “remote, difficult and
rural areas” in fourth line of the proviso under Regulations 7(2) of the Principle “Dental Council of India,
Master of Dental Surgery Course Regulations, 2017”.
